John Charles Brewer born on February 16, 1932 in Spaulding, Oklahoma to John Charles Brewer and Ellen Norris Brewer, passed away on November 11, 2014 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 82. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Mary Brewer children, Pauline Brewer, Wannell Thomas, Charlotte Bagwell husband William, and Johnny Brewer sisters, Betty Hamilton, Marvine Purkerson and Margaret Tullos grandchildren, Shawn Gustin wife Kelly, Brittany Kennedy, Courtney Kennedy, Lauren Bagwell, Sara Williams husband Dustin great grandchildren Micheal Gustin, Rylee Williams, Sara Gustin and baby on the way Kennedy numerous other relatives and a host of dear friends. John was preceded in death by both his parents daughter, Midget Catherine Brewer. John proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from the Texas Correctional Facility where he worked as a correctional officer. John and Mary belonged to the First Assembly Church of Onalaska. John loved to do woodwork. He loved his family very much and will be missed dearly. A Celebration of Johns life will be held on Friday, November 14. 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Pace Funeral Home 200 Fm 350 North, Livingston, Texas.
