Debra Glenice Dewberry, 63, of Onalaska passed away on the morning of Saturday, October 11, 2014. She was born in Lubbock, Texas to Glen and Joyce Powell.
Debra enjoyed her days to the fullest. Her love of God was ever present in her life. She was an avid reader and she enjoyed bowling very much. Her happiest times were spent with family. She was a devoted wife and daughter. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy. Debra was an amazing mother and grandmother. She became Grandma to many of her grandchildrens friends. Her heart was forever growing to make room for anyone. She was beautiful, funny, loving, selfless, and kind. Debra is survived by her mother, Joyce Powell brother and sister in law, James and Dana Powell sister, Diane Davids sister and brother in law, Jody and Terry Carter first husband, James Goins brother in law and wife, Chris and Lisa Williams brother in law, Kenneth Williams daughter and son in law, Judy and Joe Wallace daughter in law and husband, Stephanie and Clint Feese daughter in law, Jessica Hoyt grandchildren, Erin, Payton, and Reagan Wallace, Austin, Kailen and Jamie Goins, Chelsea Goins, Mikey Conway and wife Cathryn Conway great grandson, Haiden Conway Scott numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, dear friends and loved ones.
Debra is preceded in death by grandparents, James and Essie Smith father, Glen Powell brother, Doyle Powell second husband, Harold Dewberry mother and father in law, James and Hazel Goins sister in law, Bitha Bates, Wanda Haynes and Nina Goins brother in law, Howard Williams sons, Jamie Ray and Lee Ray Goins.
Visitation will be Friday, October 17, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston. A Celebration of Debras life will be held at Pace Funeral Home on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. Close family friend, Pastor and Evangelist James Adams of Boling, Texas will be officiating.
