Elsie Wilson, age 95 passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at her residence in Livingston. She had enjoyed longevity and good health up until a few weeks prior to her death. Elsie was born on February 14, 1919 in Morrisville, Pennsylvania to Elizabeth Beres and Stephen Beres. She was preceded in death by her husband, Biron Wilson, and her son, Biron Stephen Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Galembos, Elizabeth Rousseau, Rosie Meyer, Aubery Misro 3 brothers, Stephen Beres, John Beres, and Willie Beres. She is survived by 2 sisters, Dorothy Dionne and Rebecca Hochost sister in law, Elizabeth Spangler as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Elsie and Biron moved to Texas in 1947. In 1965, at the age of 46 Elsie dedicated her life to begin serving her Grand Creator, Jehovah God. She served with various congregations of Jehovahs witnesses over the years. Elsie had a strong faith in the Bibles Promise of a New Earth, where righteousness is to dwell. She believed this would be brought about soon when God intervenes in mans affairs, to remove wickedness and those who practice it. She took seriously Christ Jesus command to Go therefore and make Disciples, teaching them about the Kingdom of God. To carry out this commission, she volunteered much of her time over the years, in the door to door ministry of Jehovahs Witnesses, talking to those with a listening ear about the wonderful promises Jehovah God has in store for mankind. Elsie spent about the last 14 years in Association with the Livingston Congregation of Jehovahs witnesses where she was dearly loved, and will be missed by all. Visitation for Elsie will be on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Pace Funeral Home 200 FM 350 North, Livingston, Texas 77351. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Brother, Randy Maze officiating Pall bearers will be Leslie Crain, Rodney Lucas, Jeff Syrett, Greg Merritt, Matt Clark and Chester Lilley.
