Funeral services for Florence Mae Dalton, 84, of Shepherd were held Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, in the Pace Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Joe Landry officiating.  Interment followed in Peebles Cemetery.

Mrs. Dalton died sunday, Jan l.

she was born April 24, 1921 in Marion, ill. and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Edward Dalton of Pasadena and Lloyd Earl Dalton of Crosby; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Marie Dalton of Crosby; daughters, Kathlyn Salts of New Caney and friend John Wolsey and Billie Young of New Caney; son-in-law, Robert Louis Salts; 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ben Garcia, Jessie Bonie, Paul Bowman, Kenny Smith, Tommy Permenter, Guy Young and Willie Miles.
