Betty Jean Prince, 78,went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 27, 2010 in Livingston, Texas. She was born March 20, 1931 in Livingston, Texas to Lloyd and Dolly Simpson. Her survivors include her husband of 58 years, L.G. Prince; Brother, L.D. Simpson, Jr and wife Virginia; sister Etheldred “Sissy” Smith, husband Carlie Smith; special nephew, Howard Jake Smith and wife Brenda, niece Deborah Wright and husband John, special friends, Charles and Bonnie Fuller, Tommy Gene and Mildred Clifton; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and son; Lamar Prince. Pallbearers will be Tommy Gene Clifton, Charlie Fuller, Charles Ray Fuller, Joe Jackson, Larry Horn, Bo Richardson. A visitation was held Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 10-8 PM at Pace Funeral Home, a celebration of Betty’s life will begin at 11:00 AM, March 3, 2010, at Pace Funeral Home, with Pastor Lesley Wilkerson officiating, interment to follow at Mt. Rose Cemetery.
