Robert J. O’Connor , 81, of Livingston passed away on February 9, 2010. Robert was born to Frank and Catherine O’Connor, whom along with his brothers Edward, Bud and his loving wife of 51 years Helen O’Connor preceded him in death. Robert joined the US Navy in 1946 to 1953. After he was discharged he became an electrician until he retired in the 90’s. In 2005 Bob and his wife moved from New York to Livingston, where they enjoyed their time with friends. He will be greatly missed by those who were close to him. He was a loving devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Robert is survived by his sons, Michael O’Connor and wife Billi of Alaska, Timothy O’Connor and wife Liana of New York; grandsons, Christopher, Sean, Michael; sister, Elizabeth Alferman of New York, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
The Celebration of Life for Robert J. O’Connor will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, 13, 2010 at Pace Funeral Home Chapel.
