Ralph Roberts passed away, Thursday, January 21, 2009, peacefully with his wife Barbara and step-daughters, Debbie Kelley and Monica Kelley at his side. Ralph was born March 23, 1927 in Baird, TX to his parents, Adrian Leon and Exa Day Roberts. Mr. Roberts served in the US Army during WWII. He was reared in Stephenville, TX where he graduated from Stephenville High School and then entered Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas, TX. Ralph was a fifty year member of the Masons and Shriners in Tulia, TX. He was employed for Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, TX for 2 years. Mr. Roberts is survived by his loving wife Barbara; daughters, Marian Staton and husband of Stephenville, TX, Sharon Haught of Portales, NM; step daughters, Debbie Kelley and husband Randy Bohanon of Houston, TX, Monica Kelley and Steve Harrison of Plano, TX; eight grandchildren, Amy Young of Stinnett, TX, Camaron Garrett of Decatur, TX, Hunter Wood of Decatur, TX, Shelly Wilson of Amarillo, TX, Evan Staton of Stephenville, TX; 8 great grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; 19 step great grandchildren; sister, Cheri Shires and husband Tom of San Saba, TX; sister in law, Peggy Mayo of Stephenville, TX; uncle, R.B. Barron of CA. and a host of friends who will miss him greatly. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leon Roberts and great grandson Zachary Jordan Church. The Committal service will be at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 12:30 PM, Thursday, January 28, 2010 with Military Honors. Donations may be given to Odyssey VistaCare Hospice Foundation, 717 N. Harwood Street, Suite #1500, Dallas, TX 75201 or any other organization.
